Love it! A great scent that last long

I have been using this product day and night for 3 weeks and have loved it.

The first thing I noticed about this serum was how easy it was to spread across my skin and how it sunk into my skin, leaving a velvety texture.

My favorite way to layer this serum is to use it after my Vitamin C serum in the am and after my Retinol in the evening. Layering it this way makes my skin feel like it is locking in the treatment and creating a smooth base for moisturizer or my tinted SPF. There is a very slight numbing zing to this cream (just like the Radical Repair Barrier Balm) which I love. I imagine a barrier or shield locking into place. My skin feels comforted and soothed after use and after the first week, a bit more even. Some days I couldn’t remember if I had applied concealer!

During my 3rd week of use I took this serum on a 5-night rafting trip in the blazing sun. My skin was exposed to a lot of elements - cold water, hot sun, crazy wind and dryness. I couldn’t wait to slather this on my skin in the afternoons. I returned from the trip with surprisingly even skin tone and less redness than I expected. I think the serum did a great job creating a barrier and prepping/calming my skin. The format also held up and didn’t get watery in the sun and heat which was a plus.

I’ve been using this product every single day, and I can honestly say it’s become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s the perfect texture somewhere between a cream and a serum so it feels lightweight while still being deeply nourishing.
One of my favorite ways to use it is both before and after applying my retinol. It has made such a difference in keeping my skin comfortable and hydrated, and I no longer experience the dryness and irritation I used to.

My skin feels healthier, and incredibly hydrated. I also struggle with redness on my cheeks and rosacea, and since consistently using this product, my redness has noticeably calmed down. My complexion looks more even, less irritated, and overall much healthier.

This serum is creamy and soothing. After applying my skin felt calmer, taut but not dry. My first time applying and my skin already looked better and firmer.

I have very sensitive/reactive skin that is often blotchy or broken out. I tried this product while on my cycle and it stood up to the challenge. While using the serum, my skin was much more even, redness was reduced, and my pores were far less visible. My skin felt more hydrated, appeared more even, and healthy.

I really enjoy how this feels and works for my acne prone skin - it's the perfect consistency, not too thick or thin, and has a very fresh and not overpowering scent. It's definitely calming when I use it in conjunction with my retinoid or actives, and just helps to keep my skin barrier solid. Awesome product, Onekind!

I was asked to try this Barrier Recovery Serum prior to its launch and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it, so much so that I will be adding it to my daily skin care routine.
